The city says water coming out of faucets may temporarily be cloudy due to trapped air bubbles as the system continues to normalize across the city. https://t.co/jVOHZRyI3F
Here is guidance not everyone agrees with:
Our primary dictionary, @MerriamWebster, says, "Yes, you can end a sentence with a preposition."
It continues: Ending a sentence with a preposition (such as with, of, and to) is permissible in the English language. It seems that the idea that this should be avoided originated with writers Joshua Poole and John Dryden, who were trying to align the language with Latin, but there is no reason to suggest ending a sentence with a preposition is wrong. Nonetheless, the idea that it is a rule is still held by many.
Terrible experience with @uhaul this morning. Any recommendations on other places I might be able to get a rental TODAY since they gave my truck to someone else? #badcustomerservice#neveragain
