Feels fitting that Apple produced the (probably?) the worst ad in its history right as the company is facing its first global revenue decline in a long time.
Terrible ad: it symbolises Apple destroying creative equipment for… a slightly thinner iPad (that no one asked for).
Computer monitors would all be much better if they had a physical brightness knob right there on the front. But this is high-level 1960s technology that has since been lost.
@x0rz@phenlix That's why I find it funny that many projects require mandatory code reviews before something gets merged. They don't even know what their node_modules is made of..
@CFDevelop@phenlix I think MS did not kill Internet Explorer. They should have done that 20 years ago, but they didn't. They just let it die of old age, making our lives miserable in between.
Unpopular opinion: this book is almost 30 years old and in all honesty didn't age very well. If you own a copy do yourself a favor: bury it deeply in your bookshelf and forget about it forever.
ngl, corporations being forced to come on here and publicly say shit like "we apologize for the impersonator account that tweeted that everyone deserves food, clean water, and shelter, that is absolutely not what we stand for" is pretty funny.
