🚨CCI member @INTERAC has released new survey findings suggesting that two thirds of Canadians want quicker, more convenient contactless payments for public transit. How can this help with post-pandemic transit recovery? Read more here: https://t.co/pYhW87Z8oJ

The 2010 @nenshi campaign renewed my faith in politics & civic activism. It also showed me #yyc’s potential as a city. Even as I watched his tenure from afar, he instilled a civic pride in me, & demonstrated how public service can build better communities. Thank you Naheed!#yyccc
Today, I'm sharing my decision about the 2021 election.
I will not be running for Mayor this October.
Calgary, thank you, for everything. It's been the honour of my life.
Can’t believe this was 1 year ago. Time flies, especially when you spend most of it at home! This convention, with this team, was the last fun thing I did before everything shut down the following week. Looking forward to the day when we can all gather again!
“... next week, the provincial government will unveil a new budget. It is sure once again to portend the fiscal reckoning that is coming – a future in which the status quo will simply not be an option.” From @globeandmail: https://t.co/iX9eeqx2PL #abpoli
Alberta just reported 1,584 new COVID cases today. That's more than Ontario's 1,534. ... Alberta has about 1/3 of Ontario's population... When will the #abgov do what is necessary and impost stricter public restrictions? #abpoli#ableg

Congratulations, @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris. Our two countries are close friends, partners, and allies. We share a relationship that’s unique on the world stage. I’m really looking forward to working together and building on that with you both.
Been waiting for this day since 2016 🙌 😃 - @JoeBiden elected 46th president of the United States.
Although something tells me this isn’t the end of the story.... January 20th is still a few months away... #Election2020results#USAelection2020 https://t.co/WQSqfuAdKH
The free world is waiting with anticipation - “The only major question left is whether the story relayed decades and even centuries from now will end with what Trump did to America or with what America did to Trump.”

BREAKING: President Trump has falsely claimed that he has won the 2020 election.
That is wrong. Millions of votes are still being counted in key states. https://t.co/L3gTnRGK5f
Not only did she donate to Trump's campaign "in error", it also appears she listed her occupation as "retired", which would also be an error, BECAUSE SHE IS A SITTING CANADIAN SENATOR, WHICH IS A JOB.
In addition to ignoring the needs of women, the Alberta Government’s recovery plan is also missing an opprotunaty to build a more diverse and resilient workforce, economy, and province.

Definitely AN “October surprise”, but given this wild election season, wouldn’t be so quick to call this THE October surprise. #TrumpHasCovid https://t.co/Y8ceKti2Vb
It may be worth remembering that @realDonaldTrump “lost” all three debates in 2016 and the popular vote as well and still became @POTUS. In other words, tonight’s debacle may have no impact. #Debates2020
For comparison to tonight’s #Debates2020, here is video of the 1960 Presidential debate between Nixon and Kennedy. Notice the 8 min opening statements and remarks like, “I agree with the spirit of my opponent.” How things have gone downhill... https://t.co/s2mVvCHwAt
