Father Murray could not be clearer: "The SSPX faithful and priests are not – ACCORDING TO THE VATICAN DECREE -- excommunicated."
It is, therefore, a gross violation of Christian charity to suggest that they are and to require of them some sort of formal declaration of faith before they can “reenter the Church.”

A humble American hero whose voice became one of the Allies' most powerful weapons. Chibitty passed away at a hospital in the Tulsa area due to complications from diabetes.🕊️🇺🇸

On the shores of Utah Beach during D-Day, as explosions shook the earth and thousands of young soldiers fought through relentless enemy fire, Charlie stood among them. Armed not with overwhelming firepower, but with the sacred language of his Comanche ancestors, he transmitted critical battlefield messages that no enemy could decipher.

Like so many members of the Greatest Generation, Charlie returned home without seeking recognition or applause. He lived with quiet humility while the remarkable story of the Comanche Code Talkers remained hidden from much of the world for decades. Yet true heroism does not depend on fame. It lives in selfless sacrifice, unwavering loyalty, and the willingness to serve when history calls.

In time, the world came to understand what his fellow soldiers had always known, that Charlie's courage, his heritage, and his unbreakable commitment to freedom helped shape the outcome of World War II. The language passed down through generations of the Comanche people became an unbreakable code that protected lives and confounded an enemy determined to destroy liberty.

Though Charles Joyce "Charlie" Chibitty left this world on this day in 2005, his voice has never been silenced.
It still echoes across the sands of Normandy.

It still lives in the fields of Europe where freedom was reclaimed.

It still speaks through every generation that remembers the extraordinary sacrifices of those who answered their nation's call.

Today, we honor not only a remarkable soldier, but a proud Comanche, a devoted American, and a guardian of freedom whose legacy can never fade.

May we never forget Charles Joyce "Charlie" Chibitty.

May we never forget the Comanche Code Talkers, whose ancestral language became one of the Allies' greatest weapons against tyranny.

And may we always remember that some of history's greatest heroes did not seek recognition, they simply answered the call to serve.
