Respectfully, The eviction bylaw violates the PFJ since it endangers the individual being evicted life, liberty and security, and similar to Bedford v. AG this is grossly disproportionate since it is causing for harm then good. @OJEN_ROEJ#ojenroejsp22
@mcd_faith@OJEN_ROEJ I disagree because regardless of peoples current status laws are still laws. If you were to ignore laws about camping in parks you should be ignoring other laws as well. Failure to do so will create discriminations and upset even more people.
@SarahLeahy4 Respectfully, despite the Govt’s effort it still impt to note that there’s still so many encampments because even though the Govt is trying to help there are still so many people in these camps who cannot get access to these shelters and facilities. @OJEN_ROEJ#ojenroejsp22
Respectfully, if you read this article you will see that there is overcrowding in shelters due to the pandemic and the cost for housing. https://t.co/VONveIRTrD @OJEN_ROEJ#OJENROEJSP22
It has been proven that there is no overcrowding in homeless shelters. It is a place dedicated to them. Looking at the safety of the majority, when the homeless stick to their shelters (1/3) #OJENROEJSP22@OJEN_ROEJ@ProvostLaw
Although you have good point, due to the pandemic a lot of these people living in these tents cannot afford housing, which means these people should be allowed to camp until the government does something to provide homes for those in encampment’s. @OJEN_ROEJ#OJENROEJSP22
