@TheStoicEmperor Common character flaw with with younger generation, quick to discard the old , value the old and take in wisdom quietly learn from their stories. Also nobody is immune to father time , karmic debt must be paid
Never be the person who’s value is only appreciated in the moment of emergencies. People will leverage your reliability and poison your life with their emegencies. This does not mean you should not help people. This means people should be aware that your help comes at a cost, and they will carry the cost of their own disorder. If don’t set the precedence, your virtue will be abused for ease in their cirses.
Emotions are mainly used to manipulate men into doing things against their will. This is fine in extreme cases like life or death for someone in your family, most other cases just terrible.
Emotion is not contribution. Don't let them psyop you into believing it is
If you really want to become a self-determined man, unshakable from attaining his purpose,
then the prospect of finding your true love is out of the question.
You don't get the luxury of looking for love. Nor should you want to. It makes you weak, inefficient and stupid.
Women can afford to fall in love.
They can afford to feel the uncontrollable sensation of positive and negative emotions that make them act out in urges of deep desire.
Men cannot.
@WagerWire@BillKrackman@jonorlando Along the same lines of lower housing costs and cheap living. No matter how bad we complain, things wont go back to the past. So Vegas will thrive on the new non economically challenged population
@WagerWire@BillKrackman@jonorlando Heres how i think it goes, ive been in Vegas since 1992, the city has changed economically and the population as well, gambling is no longer a middle class proposition, just like anything else in the country. Those days of the 90s and 2000s are no longer here
You learn very little about someone's loyalty while remaining useful to them. Utility creates excellent imitations of friendship. The better test arrives when you temporarily have nothing to offer and they no longer have an obvious reason to remain close.
Never reward inconsistency with continued access. If someone shows up when it benefits them and disappears when it doesn’t, do not compensate with understanding. You don’t correct unreliable behavior with patience. You correct it by making access conditional.
@TheRealWBG@itsvegasmatt Thats a great hit WBG especially on supertimes, multiplier rarely hits. Can you guys do more video poker content on the show? I play all the time and appreciate watching high limit sessions
@UnmodernmanBot Some endings are not caused by lack of love.
They are caused by finally seeing reality without emotion distorting it.
Letting go while still caring is a level of discipline that leaves scars on the soul.
Letting her go does not mean you stopped caring. It means you finally respected reality more than your longing, and that is one of the most painful forms of maturity a man can go through.
The hardest part of letting her go is not losing her. It is losing the version of yourself that still believed love would be returned in the exact shape you offered it, and that grief cuts deeper than most men know how to admit.
The man who cannot end things cleanly will keep paying emotional interest on decisions he should have closed years ago. Dead relationships, dead habits, dead identities, dead ambitions. Maturity is not just choosing better paths. It is having the discipline to stop funding the ones that already failed.
