Couldn't agree more, specifically when it comes to design, AI can design at an IC3 level.
Why 2x when you can 5x your output...unless of course, the blame is on AI but the underlying cause is something else entirely, which seems to be the trend.
If you cut staff aggressively because of AI, you're probably not ambitious enough imho.
You can decide to cost cut OR you can just decide to multiply your output even more.
