@NickCarboniWCNC KY and OH seem to be OK with state public universities called Louisville or Cincinnati. Why can’t NC just name the school “Charlotte?” But until that happens, I have no issue with people calling it UNCC. Carry on!

@NickCarboniWCNC I am a UNCC alum and it’s still UNCC to me. When you ask some who currently attends the school where they go, they say UNCC because if they said “Charlotte” nobody would know what they meant. I’m all for changing the name of the school to University of Charlotte, but rebranding?
