@chadchabot Ah, we don’t use ticketing much but I did have to do some wrangling with their API to get it working for my use case if I recall. I’m down in Hamilton every so often so I’ll let you know when I’m headed there! And let me know if you’re in KW, it would be nice to catch up.
@chadchabot This sounds kinda like what the Basecamp guys are doing: https://t.co/O0lrB61PdU - but DHH has gone off the rails (haha) in recent years and not sure I want to buy his products anymore.
FWIW we have used Hubspot for ages and it works well enough for us if you wanna chat.
Thanks @melle for putting into words what it took me a while to figure out for myself, especially working around so many fast-growth companies in KW: bigger isn't always better, and there are advantages to being a "small business" as opposed to a "startup"
Thinking big is often the cultural default of the business world, but is bigger always better? Columnist @melle explores the merits of thinking small in a world where big gets all the glory.

I’ve seen firsthand in the last four years how hard she has worked for everyone in this community, how she listens to everyone who has reached out to her and how much consideration she puts into every decision.

I don't know how to end this except to say that I'm sad about the state of the world when it comes to white supremacy, a*ti-v*x*ers, misinformation and polarization and I don't know what we do to make it better. I guess that's what I should look up next.
This is so so disappointing. When I took over @TryCharityCAN I found @DHH to be a sane and empathetic voice in the world of tech, advocating for sustainability over extreme growth, for treating your employees like humans with lives outside of work, etc., etc.
"I do not believe in imposed vaccine mandates. It’s a pharmaceutical intervention with possible side effects. I think if you push too much, you will have a reaction. Action generates reaction, especially with vaccines" – DK Director of Health Authority 🇩🇰🇨🇦https://t.co/8159o9juSm
But now when a group of white folks show up with blockades and demands that the government be dismantled, we should be "engag[ing] with the merits of the argument"? Please.
