The wonderful @monkeyjen is raising money for the @mndassoc in memory of my dad who died last week. Any support greatly appreciated :-)

£0 budget short film help needed - is there a lovely pub with a beautiful garden in or near #Exeter who would let us film a comedy short? 3-4 hrs filming on a Sat/Sun morning? It’ll look gorgeous and we’ll drink beer afterwards

Not only is this petty and awful, it seems like poor political strategy to rile musicians, a group of people who have a large following they can use to protest this:

@WigglyKoala Yep, this. I joined the local photography club a little while ago but have only managed to attend one of the weekly Zoom calls because 7:30pm is JUST TOO LATE 😅
Keep being asked questions about meeting/travel over the holidays that people want to hear an emotionally reassuring & comforting answer. I can't do that as a public health scientist right now & have to be straight, even if unpopular.
We need to find a cure for #ALS#MND. It will kill 1 in every 300 people. In the UK, most research funding currently comes from charities like @mndassoc, @MNDoddie5 and @MNDScotland. Now we need @GOVUK to step up and build on the huge progress the ice bucket challenge generated.
@nearlythere@HornCologne Oh totally! It can take a little while, but there will be a day when you settle down for your stupid-never-works-nap-time and then suddenly wake up when your alarm goes off.
Dad is eighty, today.
Two years ago he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease. He is now completely paralysed.
He has accepted his illness with dignity, grace, and amazing resilience.
Proud of you, dad. Happy birthday :-)
