@safcann1967 Hello Ann.
It’s good to hear from you! 😊😊😊
I went back on Facebook recently and you didn’t have an ‘add friend’ button. Add me 👍
I’m doing alright. How are you? X
@NorsmanLuther@Sports_fanatik1@TheAthleticFC That’s what many Sunderland fans said about us getting promoted to the prem. Now look at us.
I just think, ‘grab the chance while you can’. You can’t choose when to qualify for Europe or get promoted.
I’d be happy to just stay clear of a relegation battle this season though.
Our economy isn’t working. It’s built on lies: the myth of growth, the myth that profit comes before people, and the myth that wealth is more important than fairness. If we want a sustainable society, we need a new moral code for the economy.
In this video, I set out ten commandments for a just economy - principles that put people before profit, justice before greed, and sustainability before growth.
These commandments demand:
- People before profit
- Fair rewards for work
- Inclusion, not exclusion
- Respect for the earth
- Finance that serves life
- Fair taxation
- Transparency and accountability
- Measuring what really matters
This is a manifesto for a fair and sustainable economy. One we could all be proud to live in.

@JamesTr85061420@jimthegiant I agree we need to focus on rebuilding our communities, but disagree about taking the power from the government (because they haven’t got the power).
The government is being bankrupted by the wealthy. All of the governments assets are being stripped. Look at the NHS & services.
@JamesTr85061420@jimthegiant I think people either play the game on a smaller scale, or become a victim of the game - succumbing to the difficulty of the lower end of our economic system.
@JamesTr85061420@jimthegiant I don’t believe most people have a choice of whether to play the game or not.
I agree power is also the goal.
Wealth is power in many ways.
@JamesTr85061420@jimthegiant The wealthy capitalists have bought politicians into corruption to help them become wealthier.
Think Rupert Murdoch, for example. The rich run the show and capitalism is their game.
Unless you’re a multimillionaire or billionaire, then you’re also their game.
@JamesCopley_ I think Isidor is suited to an impact sub role in this league. As a starter, playing 70 minutes, I feel he might get found out. As a late sub, he’s fast and unpredictable.
I’d start Brobby due to his physical presence. See how he gets on, using the other 2 from the bench.
