I’ve been making ten second birthday videos for my students and schedule them to post on GC on the day of their birthday. The amount of thank you messages back breaks my heart! Kids think their birthdays are forgotten in this virtual world. @GlasgowMS#gmsbelieves

Tips to help teachers alleviate stress:
* Organize by priorities not everything is urgent.
*Strategically plan when assignments are due.
* Don't overload. (grade a few papers each day, not all at once.)
*Set personal time & stick to it!
* it’s ok to say no sometimes

3/3 Goal: Be more transparent with students (good feedback takes some time for me to create) and set boundaries (it’s okay if it isn’t perfect). Teachers, take care of yourselves. #distancelearning
1/3 Virtual teaching brings up a lot of emotions. Excitement: Tried something new! Made video feedback for students! I began with one class to see if it was worth the extra effort and I am blown away! They LOVED it! (Especially when Rocky made an appearance 🐶)
2/3 Exhaustion: I put so much effort into lessons, feedback, and building community with my students. I know they benefit from it but I am constantly tired. Is this sustainable?
