Mohamed Salah is lambasted for not speaking enough, then when he does, is slammed for not doing it at the time and in the manner his critics demand.
He is not a performing monkey. He has given absolutely everything he could to the game - and for just shy of a decade, to Liverpool.
Why is his love for the club always questioned? Why can’t he speak as a fan of Liverpool, which he is?
Salah FC or Misperception FC?

🚨🎙️| Jamie Carragher says this Arsenal side is one of the least convincing teams ever to go on and win a Premier League title in history:
🗣️“People are trying to convince me this Arsenal side are one of the great Premier League champions? Give me a break.
I’m watching this team every single week and honestly, they might be one of the least convincing title-winning sides we’ve seen in years. Everything is robotic. Everything is rehearsed. If the set pieces don’t work, they genuinely struggle to create anything consistently from open play against deep blocks.
Look at the numbers. Corners, free kicks, deflections, VAR interventions, that’s been the story of their season. They’ve basically turned football into an NFL training session. Fair play to Nicolas Jover because he’s probably been their most important attacking player this year without even stepping onto the pitch.
And then there’s the VAR decisions. Every single big moment seems to go Arsenal’s way. Marginal offsides? Arsenal benefit. Soft contact in the box? Arsenal benefit. Goals checked for five minutes until they find a reason to disallow it? Arsenal benefit. Fans of other clubs are watching this thinking: ‘How many lifelines are these lot gonna get?’
People talk about dominance, what dominance? I’ve seen better football from teams that finished 3rd or 4th. When City were winning titles, they suffocated teams with quality. Liverpool at their peak overwhelmed teams with intensity. Even Chelsea under Mourinho had personality and control.
This Arsenal team? It’s corners and controversy.
And the scary thing is, Arsenal fans are acting like this is an all-time great side when half their big wins this season came from dead-ball situations and chaotic VAR moments that completely killed games for opponents.
You know what happens when the officiating balance swings the other way next season? We’ll see the truth very quickly.
Because if you remove the set-piece dependency and the constant controversy surrounding decisions, I genuinely don’t think this team wins the league.
That’s why for me, if they do finish top, they’ll go down as one of the weakest Premier League champions in the modern era. Effective? Maybe. Entertaining? Absolutely not. Dominant? Not even close.”
An elderly man in Egypt went to the chemist to get a prescription, his medication was out of stock. Instead of arguing, he performed an acrobatic flip and calmly left, leaving the pharmacist calling it the strangest reaction he’d ever seen.
@nickgoff79 Totally understand this point of view in terms of a match going fan. However, accuracy is important and we should be striving for efficiency. Even match going fans would be fuming if a decision sent them down or cost them a trophy when technology would have proved it wrong
When people in the UK are asked why they are now supporting Reform, a common response is because 'things can't get any worse.' They certainly can & almost certainly would if Reform wins power.
The latest trend among Israeli youth is to call their parents and mockingly ask for donations for the children of Gaza and record their parents' vile reactions.
Why do Western states not ask themselves how the region is supposed to co-exist securely with a society like this?
“It isn’t people seeking sanctuary who are tearing our country apart. It’s toxic, racist narratives and the scapegoating of migrants for crises they did not cause.”
Carla Denyer challenges the Home Secretary's new immigration reforms saying they just fuel far-right narratives.
My Dad was able to buy a house, have two kids, pay the bills, we were middle class on one salary. We had same day GP, ambulances within mins, dentists, good education, good public transport, clean beaches and rivers. Now even two salaries would struggle. And the UKs gone to SHIT. Yet somehow it’s migrants fault? Like what? Not the developers, buying in bulk and price gouging everyone else out of being able to buy a property. I genuinely struggle to see how people are still falling for this shit. Let’s blame the people with nothing, rather than the people with EVERYTHING.
