@TheMightySip It’s not a patch on White Diamond (Showgirl Homecoming Live version) or Crystallize. 100% Kylie + Scissor Sisters
I think the music was even someone else’s that they shopped around. It’s been used by at least one other song.
@gmb Have you mentioned once this morning about Hasan and Cenk being prevented from travelling to the UK? That’s terrifying that you can be manipulated this way. This should have been the headline topic of conversation. People get murdered all the time.

The media became more about shock value entertainment with a greater focus on “edge cases” where something extremely rare has happened but it gets projected as though it could happen to you and yours. All sorts of simple minded people believe things are going to happen to them that are statistically highly unlikely.
With the Internet, messages about these edge cases spread faster than ever.
Now people talk as though edge cases are happening all the time to everyone. Practices adapted to these false beliefs.
Yes bad things will happen to someone but mostly it’s like winning the lottery jackpot (in reverse).
@btwjoanne She did another video after this though. “Giving You Up”.
The doc just showed she was exhausted this day.
“I Believe In You” video was filmed at least 7 months before the cancer announcement.
@lord_raid@iamjonnyharvey I was there dude. I’m 49 and I’m Scottish. She didn’t work with him before he was known here in the UK. It was after his debut single was a hit. He wasn’t a global superstar at that point by any means but he became famous here very quickly.
@thetsdplays@lord_raid They published 3 but there’s another 3 we’ve never heard.
Similar situation with the Scissor Sisters. She literally has an album of songs with them that were never finished. I think of it as the missing album… that cancer prevented.
@iamjonnyharvey@lord_raid It’s not really got a commercial sound to it. It’s suited to being an album track or a B-side. It wouldn’t have had his name on it. So it probably would have sold less than BTT.
He was pretty big already before Rihanna. That’s why she hired him.
Potentially strange item placement.
The forgetfulness seems to get worse as you age. So, I will sometimes place related objects in my path, e.g. on the floor close to the door, so that I don’t forget them.
Medication bottles have to be close to locations that I sit at and having as many as I have sitting locations helps. So when the digital reminder goes off, I only have to reach for it. If I can’t, there’s a strong chance I’ll forget.
I do lots of things that don’t work. Like leaving web browser tabs open when I’m multitasking, with the intention of returning to them. It spirals and they’re there for months and eventually I close them because their moment has passed.
@stawman74@tinyrowlet@iamhappygolucky That one doesn’t work. Women can be born without a uterus and many have theirs removed. Are they men? Are any of your female relatives, who’ve had their uterus removed, men?
You’re exemplifying the real ignorance that to me has come out of nowhere because of my own ignorance that everyone was well educated. You do not speak for the majority whatsoever. That’s called confirmation bias. There has been no referendum on the topic. So, you cannot possibly claim that.
In fact, recorded science has been researching gender incongruence since the 1940’s. There’s decades of academic research showing it’s a real natural phenomenon; that someone can be born in the wrong sex body for their brain. Nature makes lots of ‘mistakes’. This is well proven to be one of them and why the NHS even offers services.
Listen to what you’re saying man… if it were true, why the fk would the NHS offer services??? They don’t offer any service without rigorous scientific and factual backing. You don’t know better than these academics who are probably light years above your IQ.
There’s also loads of ancient history showing the existence of this. Other non-Western cultures also accept this as just another state of existence.
Ask yourself this… Why do you fear it so much? That’s what’s not normal. Why does it interest you so much that you had to reply here? What is it about your own life that you can’t bear to look at, so you have to look at others?
I’m still stunned as to how we got here. I think I fooled myself into thinking that because I was well educated then every subsequent generation would be too. I thought we kept evolving. I thought the dystopian world from the movie “V for Vendetta” would never come to be.
How did the empathy die in some of these people? I saw the BBC’s “A Change of Sex” at 17 in 1994. I felt nothing but empathy. If anything I admit to being thankful I didn’t have to go through the same thing. I recognised how hard life would be for someone in this position.
I understand nature is a mess. Any random thing you can think of, and it happens. We seem to be sheltered from that. Intersex, etc. it’s all hidden still, like a taboo. Now they can’t even talk about science showing things like a male brain in a female body because of what it might lead to… terminations if detectable prenatal.
Why do they care so much? Is it because they can’t bear to look at their own lives and stick to their own business? Are they confused by their secret fascination? It’s all fear of something. A sad existence.
@acjuelich Hi. I’m highly unlikely. Hit 90%. The rest need attention because they’re otherwise unhealthy. All my clients are HP. They’re all on HP Connect and Windows Autopatch. I just had to write a script to check they were on the minimum BIOS required and stuck it in Intune remediations.
