@talkSPORT Disgusting and I am a Scotsman! Seriously, they aren't selling it, they are just passing it down. Absolutely shocking that they should have to pay anything to keep it.

@benfromsuffolk@RollingHedge@WilliamClouston Retail operates at a margin of between 1 and 5%. His sales (revenue) are 40M, so thats between 400K and 2M profit, which as he said is being eaten into by 1.3M of extra tax. So he is now tops down to 700K profit, maybe even making a loss. So why take the risk? Put it in a 5% bond
@albieamankona Compound Interest? £1 with an interest rate of 2% for 30 years is £1.86. UK bonds have been 3.6%, so maybe ask the governments what they have done? Spend it as it came in is the answer.

@eliz_lizbith88@NoFarmsNoFoods If you shove the snow to the sides its impressive, just look at the scottish ski resorts, not many runs open, this is nothing unusual for this time of year in aberdeenshire and my parents who live their have confirmed. They get snowed in most years and this is nothing special.
