Station manager at the amazing @NCPR. Longtime public radio host. Drinker of iced coffee. Watcher of a lot of sports, especially @borussia_en and @LeTour.
Dropping by this space to pass along a link to my BBC World Service debut, on this program (programme!) about airports: https://t.co/6Sninx3ZFL
Many thanks to producer @DamascusRose for the interview. (Next stop, the Shipping Forecast?)
@LaurelSnyder @trublu24 I jumped on it when the waitlist only had 1100 people. This was probably the first time in internet history that I was ahead of the curve.
Hey, North Country folk - the snow has mostly stopped up here. Make a trip out to @SUNYCantonNews this evening to watch Rob Kugler and I talk about his moving memoir, "A Dog Named Beautiful."
Tonight's guest author @robkugler made a stop in our Dog Floor to meet with some lucky students who live with their besties on campus. Rob will speak at 6:30 p.m. in the Kingston theater. Free, open to the public, and recommended to anyone who ♥️s dogs!
We're excited to welcome SUNY Canton student and comedian Doug Smith @whodougsmith this Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Kingston Theater. Join us for some laughs and hear Doug talk about his writing process ✍️
Just wrote a nice, long, and understanding letter to a couple of supporters, telling them I understood their decision not to renew their donation. Then I discovered I'd written on the note card upside-down.
Hey, this will be a fun event. Come for the standup, stay for the expert Q&A with, um, me. And if you'd like a sneak preview, listen to the interview in the middle of this: https://t.co/0DtkDYtJt8

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I think Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have given Monday Night Football a sense of smooth, calm professionalism that it's been lacking for a long while.
Public Radio life, North Country style: Driving home from a meeting in Tupper Lake late this afternoon, I had to slow down to let a bear cross the road.
So about 1/3 of the way through this big stack of letters I'm signing, I have the yips. My brain cannot communicate to my hand what my signature is supposed to look like. It's like the Mackey Sasser of form letters.
Gotta say, I truly enjoyed the call by @kevinhatchard and @RealOwo on today's @borussia_en game. Really entertaining commentary that added a lot to a really entertaining game. #BMGBSC
If you haven't read it, @Jpdabrams piece on Ron Necciai, owner of one of the most magical records in baseball history, is well worth your time: https://t.co/J6OlhN6Dqb
