@Richard_Vixen I implore these type of women to pick up a book about the history of women during the mid-1900s. They are basing this belief system on what they saw on TV and it’s terrifying.
Dear white women:
My prayer is that slowly, one by one, you are realizing that you and your daughters are FAR safer in the company of Black and Brown women,
than you ever were in the company of white men.
Vote blue the whole ballot!
@theashleyray Musicians like Cobain and Tupac changed the fabric of music. They’re influenced continues to reverberate throughout music. I just don’t think Liam or 1D has done that.
As the old adage goes, “Time is our greatest commodity.”
Aldis Hodge’s time in the spotlight started more than thirty years ago on the iconic series Sesame Street. Now, the actor is solving crimes starring in Cross, Amazon Prime’s upcoming crime thriller based on the same book.
The 38-year-old brings a powerful presence to the role, capturing the complexity of a man torn between his duties as a parent and his quest for justice. Maintaining balance has been key to Hodge’s success across various endeavors—from being a new father to writing and painting to playing the violin. Oh, and did we mention he’s also a self-taught horologist? (We’ll save you the Google search; it’s a watchmaker.) He simply refuses to accept limits as an artist and visionary.
Learning how to balance his professional and creative aspirations while keeping family at the forefront, and like his character he shows that success isn’t just measured by achievements but by the time spent with those you love. And for Aldis, time is truly Of The Essence.

I’m sick of hearing about/from republican voting white women claiming that they opposed overturning Roe. You can’t spend decades voting for a party whose express goal was to end Roe, and then say that you didn’t support overturning it.
Regardless of how this election goes, i will never be the same. Its broken my heart to learn we share a country with some of the most wretched people on the planet.
I proudly cast my vote for Harris/Walz but I don’t have any faith in my fellow white women to do the same. We’ve proven so many times that are misogyny runs deep.
Is there a hex on anyone attached to The West Wing that makes it impossible to mention Moira Kelly’s name in relation to her time on the show? #WhatsNext
@carolinerenard_ I’ve had a few. Some were situational so it was understandable. One I completely deserved (I blame the gelson’s parking lot in silverlake) and the other two they were just flat out assholes. None of these were fan encounters.
@yecats45 @YNB Girl…no. If you’re only doing it so black women will tell you what a good person you are just stop. Leave black women alone. It’s not their job to make us feel better about our misogynoir.
