Massie: "I think it's ironic that we control the House, Senate, Supreme Court, and the White House, and we're yelling 'election fraud'? I mean, we won all the damn elections."
There is a coherent worldview behind the Vice President’s foreign policy, and that is exactly the problem. J.D. Vance does not stumble into the outcomes he produces. He believes in them. He sees a tripartite world with America secured in its own hemisphere, Russia dominant across Europe, and China supreme in Asia. He appears willing to trade away seventy years of American primacy to build it. The retreat is the design.

ZELENSKYY: For the first time, Americans reacted positively to giving us licenses to produce Patriot missiles. American production is 700 Patriot missiles a year.
Americans recently granted licenses to Germans. We signed contract with Germans to produce 600 missiles for Ukraine.
What Ukraine ultimately wants, and what everyone agrees on, is that in addition to Germans in Europe, we now have all technical capabilities in Ukraine to start producing missiles for Patriot systems ourselves.
For this, we need licenses from United States. I know entire leadership of these European and American companies that are currently responsible for Patriot system production.
We have reached the point where the only approval we still need is from Trump personally, everyone else agrees.
Yesterday, the President of Poland noted that the Order of the White Eagle is not an ordinary award. It is a symbol of the highest trust of the Republic of Poland. It signifies a special bond with the Polish state and the special gratitude of the Polish People. Such a symbol requires not only merit, but also respect for the values that form the foundation of our community.
Therefore, if it is considered that this special symbol may remain with Catherine II, Benito Mussolini, and Gerhard Schröder, then we in Ukraine will not argue with that.
Ukraine is grateful to the Polish People for their support and cooperation, which play a significant role in the struggle for our and your independence from Russia.
Ukraine never forgets solidarity and understands that cooperation between states and peoples in our region is one of the tangible security guarantees for Ukrainians and for each neighboring state.
Ukraine will continue to defend itself in this war unleashed by Russia, and we will undoubtedly achieve a dignified peace.
Ukraine is grateful to all peoples, states, and leaders who will continue to stand with us in the defense of freedom and who, together with Ukraine, will serve as guarantors of postwar peace in Europe and a new, real security.
Ukraine will remain open to all meaningful formats of engagement with Poland in order to try to avoid conflicting interpretations of the difficult and painful chapters of our shared past and to ensure proper respect for all innocent victims of the 20th century.
And Ukrainians are doing everything in our power to ensure that Europe does not suffer defeat in this century.
I am proud of our people and of EVERY Ukrainian warrior – of the millions of Ukrainian men and women who deserve unquestionable respect for the heroism the Ukrainian People have shown in defending themselves against Russian aggression.
We believed that the Order of the White Eagle, awarded in 2023, was meant for the Ukrainian People and our army. That is what was said at the time. Today, I sent the Order back to the President of Poland.
I believe the future will confirm the respect Ukrainians deserve.
Glory to Ukraine!
BREAKING: Italy's deputy PM and foreign minister Antonio Tajani just CANCELLED his planned diplomatic trip to Washington on monday, declaring that Trump's "serious and offensive words" directed at the prime minister "offend all of Italy."
This comes after Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni TORCHED Donald Trump after he claimed she “begged” him for a photo at the G7 and that he only took it because he “felt sorry for her.”
The Italian PM was wondering.
"I don’t know why the president of the United States behaves this way with his own allies; it’s not the first time this happens."
She went on saying, "I can only say that I’m sorry he doesn’t show the same determination with the enemies of the West, with the enemies of the United States, whose leaders he instead shows himself to be much more accommodating towards."
Italy's prime minister is a boss lady.
@pmarca Discounting rational fear of the most fundamental technology change in human history as “psyops” is to forget the human stack in change. It’s a critical part of all change and acknowledging that is the first step in dealing with the change. Denialism is not a strategy.
@pmarca Psyops? It’s a fundamental change in how we work and is locating entry level work now. It’s normal fear and anxiety for the future. I recall pushing through change at the start of the Internet revolution in the 90’s. Fear was bigger then, but we powered thru for better & worse.
@SaveYourCinema Hey @IntuitDome you guys should get a stack in AMC and turn security into an asset and not a liability. You have the tech to transform entertainment venues at scale.
@ronrule@farzyness The Republican presidents are responsible for over 60% of the debt. The debt has declined under every democrat and up under every Republican since Carter. GOP is the party of of deficit spending and recessions. Dems are deficit killers and steady growth economies.
In recent years, we have all learned that Russians are evidently the most repulsive people on the planet.
When you are already down on the ground, they kick you in the stomach. If you fight back, they start whining and accusing you.
After today's Ukrainian attacks on Moscow, the Russians will scream: "Ukrainian terrorists, murderers..."
Stop.
Russia started this war, which violates international law. For over four years, Russians have destroyed Ukrainian cities, killed, raped, and abducted people.
And the entire Russian population was fine with that.
Have no pity for the Russians in Moscow—they must end the war.
Dear Joe,
I wish I could sit down with you face to face and explain why so many of us were offended by the UFC fight on the South Lawn of the White House.
For me, it had nothing to do with the UFC or who showed up for the fights. The brand you and Dana have built is a bona fide American success story. More power to you. As for the fighters, in my book, anyone brave enough to put it all on the line in the arena is remarkable to witness. Their dedication and discipline inspire me. I don’t understand anyone who can’t admire that.
And as for the people who attended, I, for one, love Shane Gillis. I think he’s hilarious and brilliant. It was a show. A once-in-a-lifetime spectacle. I can’t blame anyone for wanting to witness it firsthand.
My problem is that I believe some of our public spaces are sacred. And unlike many of the great powers that came before us, these American monuments belong to all of us. Not to whoever happens to hold power at the moment.
The White House does not belong to Donald Trump. It does not belong to any President. It belongs to the people. To treat it as Caesar treated the Colosseum is antithetical to everything our founding fathers fought for.
This is not Rome. Presidents are not emperors doling out bread and circuses for the peasants. The White House is the People’s House. This “celebration” could have happened in any stadium within a stone’s throw of the South Lawn. No one would have had an issue with it.
But that was obviously Donald Trump’s whole point. By holding the event on the South Lawn, what he was saying to the rest of us is:
“This is my house. I own it. I will do with it what I please. I’ll build a colosseum and have the gladiators fight under my gaze. I’ll tear down the East Wing. I’ll pave over the Rose Garden. I’ll cover everything in gold and marble. I’ll erase the names of all the men who came before me.”
The fights were an exhibition of imperial domination, not a celebration of our 250th anniversary as a democracy.
The White House is not Buckingham Palace. It is not the Palace of Versailles. It is not the Forbidden City of Beijing. It does not belong to an emperor, or a king, or a commissar.
The White House belongs to us. All of us. The person who sits behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office is nothing more than an honored guest. A temporary caretaker.
The President is our servant. Not our Caesar.
Respectfully, Hunter
P.S. Cage match between me and Don Jr.? Your call on the venue. Anywhere but the South Lawn.
No, this photo is not Ukraine. This Is Chechnya. In 1999, the capital Grozny was destroyed by the Russians. But 3 years earlier, Russia signed a peace treaty with the Chechens. They had lost the war and needed a pause. Only to go back and kill up to 300,000 Chechens, 25% of the entire small but proud nation that wanted freedom.
This is how peace talks with Russia always end. That is why Ukraine does not want them until they leave our land. That's why we're asking for guns.
By the way, the 1st Chechen President Dzhokhar Dudayev was killed by a Russian rocket during telephone conversations on April 21, 1996. They calculated his whereabouts and killed him, pretending to negotiate. And in 1995, he said in an interview: "Russia will eventually face Ukraine. Russia will fall when the sun of Ukrainian freedom rises." He knew that 28 years ago.
@EWErickson Sun Tzu, most wars are decided before they start.
We started a war with little planning, no acknowledgement of tangential risks, no concern for the civilians of the enemy, no definition of goals or what a win looks like and no backup going in. America alone isn’t America first.
Are we really supposed to believe that Matt Shaw wouldn’t become the same or better defender at SS than Dansby Swanson?
He’s more of an athlete & has a stronger arm.
He picked up 3B in less than a year & was a Gold Glove finalist as a rookie. Play him every day at SS.
