Heavenly Father, in the quiet of this moment, we come before you, drawing strength from the words of your son in John 15:18: “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” Lord Jesus, you knew the sting of rejection, the cruelty of misunderstanding, and the outright hostility of a world that turned away from your light. As your followers today, we feel echoes of that same hatred, prejudice against our faith, mockery of our beliefs, and persecution in places where your name is whispered in fear. Father, in a world that often despises what is holy, grant us unwavering courage to stand firm. Help us remember that this hatred is not personal but a reflection of the darkness resisting your truth. Shield our hearts from bitterness, and instead, fill us with your love that overcomes evil with good. Teach us to pray for those who oppose us, just as you prayed for your persecutors from the cross. Lord, we lift up our brothers and sisters around the globe who face real danger for bearing your name, those imprisoned, those silenced, those enduring loss. Surround them with your protection, comfort them in their trials, and let your peace reign in their spirits. May their faithfulness inspire us all to live boldly, sharing the Gospel without fear, knowing that the world’s rejection draws us closer to you. In times of division and animosity, unite your church in prayer and purpose. Remind us that we are not of this world, but called to transform it through your grace. Strengthen our resolve to love as you love, to forgive as you forgive, and to shine your light even brighter amid the shadows. We thank you for the privilege of following Christ, even when it costs us. In his precious name, we pray, Amen. #dailyprayer✝️
