Today, Elon Musk, a trillionaire, pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $184,500.
If we end that absurdity and lift the cap on taxable income, we can make Social Security solvent for 75 years and expand benefits by $2,400. My Social Security bill does that.

Don' ignore (as you are) the other types of gov't/business barriers that hinder free trade including; restrictive vehicle safety and environmental standards, tightly controlled dealership networks, and regulatory complexity.
@tracegallagher Beyond logistics nightmare, this is an example of "class warfare". It has been tried in other countries with mixed results. Remember the Nokia exec that got a 116k Euro speeding fine ? How many CA politicians with their millions will actually pay?
