@TreIindor20 You are entitled to your opinion my man, but this is way off base. He had zero to do with the NLCS team. He wanted to do this rebuild after year one but he couldn’t because they had success.
@MarkCHealey Well said! Like you, I fell for all of it. Cohen needs to go back to the drawing board. Cause Stearns is not the guy. We couldn’t have designed a bigger disaster.
@StevenACohen2
This is more than underperformance, its a disaster. If Stearns was going to dismantle the past, he needed to be sure this team could at least compete. This is more embarrassing than any of the Wilpon years. Congrats!
@DanBartels2 While I agree with Sherman that this is Stearns’ mess, it is notable that the Mets have been in a free fall now for a full year and some of that on field result has to be on the Manager. I would fire Mendoza.
@AdamsBoxingShow Agree. No need for Errol to return. He arguably already overachieved in his career. A career well done. Getting seriously hurt seems to be an increased risk at this point.
@Ben_Yoel I agree wanting Wilpon back is just silliness. Beyond that I am not sure what your point is. They have lost 10 straight. While I have always been a Stearns fan, it is legitimate at this point to question his strategy.
@JonHeyman I would say it’s early but 8 straight losses would seem indicative of bigger issues. I viewed pitching as the biggest issue last year but Stearns made changes all over the field. Notable that Alonso, Nimmo and McNeil were all spark plugs for this team. Now they seem dead.
@lady_valor_07 Yes! Anyone who is so willing to tell you how she feels is going to have haters. I don’t agree with everything she says, but I respect her for calling things as she seems them. @megynkelly
@ringmagazine A prime Tyson is a bad style match up for Usyk. The guys that Usyk has been fighting are not aggressive punchers. AJ needed too long to set things up. The pure energy and aggression of Tyson would lead to a KO in my view.
