Ok, conference-going people, what are your favorite conference bags? How do you manage a laptop, iPad, notebook, purse/wallet, etc? Do you carry more than one bag or just finding a single bigger bag?
In other news, I’m at ITLC Lilly in Austin, a conference on teaching and learning, to share our work on teaching observations and whether instructors change their teaching practices after getting feedback. Excited to share this work! #LillyCon#SoTL
I was interviewed by a friend and colleague with the ATL about teaching, research, and working in faculty development. Check it out here: https://t.co/PE6TVbuBKb
The Platinum reason to come to ChemEd 2023, the presenters! Dr. Michelle Herridge is just one of over 120 presenters coming to ChemEd this summer to share their ideas, research, and best practices! (Love the periodic table in the background! 😉 - @chem13news )

@nestates For the most part, the only frustrating part was the giant delivery windows, but even that was more about being impatient. A few things got shuffled, but no more than any box truck would do. The storage was key for me, and made it the best option in my case.
@rosasdestiladas @ChemEd2023 I’m so excited! I’ll be presenting with my grad student on an integrated science course for elementary education majors! @ChemEd2023 is going to be a blast!
@nestates I have! It was great. It was coordinated through my (new at the time) job, but I can probably answer some of your questions. I moved without a place to live, so they stored it for almost two months for me.
Thank you so much for your time! I am so happy to be a part of your community. Looking forward to a future of bridging gaps and making #STEMEd accessible
Had the most delightful conversation with @mdhh99 about career options and navigating #academia to effect change & bridge gaps 💪🏽

@SnySci97@ChemEdX@ChemEdXpert 1. Where to find good resources/references to explain the science.
2. Safe storage and which chemicals have the most versatile uses (variety of labs).
3. Public speaking and showmanship (how to create interest and surprise).
I think this is the only photo I’m in at #bcce2022 - I had such an incredible time seeing people and catching up that I forgot to get evidence! Thankful for this incredible community!
I got to spend quality time with many women in this photo at #BCE2022. Anytime I’m around anyone in this amazing group, I feel so lucky to be a part of our community. (Missing @RegIsChem in this photo).
@socialpolicyind 1. Don’t yuck someone’s yum.
2. Perhaps you should consider the person in science, rather than assuming a disembodied worker. We are people, looking for proof that we can do ALL the things we want. For more info on why this is so important, check out work by @Morgan_Howe42
So proud and pleased to be a part of a community where great researchers like @STEMxicanEd can bring babies to their talks. Definitely a super mom moment and setting wonderful norms for our #cer community.
We ask leading Chemistry Education Researchers for donations of their favorite must-read books, and this is what they sent! A great reading list for early career chemistry education scholars.
Thanks to all who donated! @glawrie @GingCER @vicatal@DRwinfield & #TwitterlessJack
