@HubPointless Part of the problem is that the further back you go the weaker the astartes become, and they have drastically more variance in authors and information available.
The oldest stories pretty much have Astartes as beefed up marines with heavy armor, whereas current marines are tanks.

@PirateSoftware The easy answer is that by the most recent games, The Animus doesn't matter anymore. Ubisoft realized people didn't care much for the modern story, so that plotline has all but withered away. Now, it's just the medium through with the game's story is told. The "How".

- His last trails attempt was him going 2-8, KDA of 0.78
- More than 50% of his combined playtime is exclusively story missions.

@LukeCB14 So someone found his account, and the name is pretty much what you'd expect. Quick summary:
- His lifetime raid record is 0-6
- His last and only session in 2 years was the intro to Kepler mission, which he played for 5 minutes and then quit
- He almost exclusively plays campaign

You can (and probably should) run more compatible weapons to improve consistency, but if you wanna make things blow up, this isn't a bad way to do it.

@jingelhymer I think there's a level of critical thinking that's required to understand "Guy doesn't like a thing =/= Guy makes thing bad for everyone" and "Guy likes a thing =/= Guy makes thing good for everyone" when there is in fact more than one guy.
