🚨York College students say a mob dragged a young woman off her own porch by her hair and beat her unconscious — while a crowd filmed it.

It happened on West Jackson Street, off campus, early Saturday.

Students say they were on the porch when a stranger picked a fight and a pack rushed them. One girl was ripped off the steps by her hair, dragged to a stop sign, and jumped by about a dozen people. She says she blacked out twice — a kick to the ribs, then a blow to the back of the head.

Friends were dragged down the stairs too. One was already in a knee brace.

They say they called 911 five times. The first calls went out before the beating, when a crowd gathered and cars were racing. Police say they were tied up on another call. Officers arrived after it was over.

Students say this is not the first time, and that campus safety and the city have left them exposed.
