@ScottKacsmar You contradicted yourself (improvise/Chiefs don't value route running). They have WRs that mindlessly run the route. Few INCs or INTs are from a WR running the wrong route. Pat expects the WR to make a high IQ play and adjust to the defense but they just keep running the route.
@micahvogan@BrettChiefsSzn The guy covering Worthy is the one who picked it off, right? Stands to reason Worthy could have made as much of a play for the ball as his defender did. Pat floated the pass, but a dawg would have at least tried for it.
@ProfDanielLyons But @ProfDanielLyons , it's evictions that are the problem, not people failing (or, let's be generous, even being unable) to pay their rent!
@LanceTHESPOKEN You are wrong about the pass rush. Chiefs are third in pressure rate, but QBs are throwing in 2.3 seconds, so the rush doesn't have time to get home. I'd like to see them blitz less and have someone marking the RB and TE so we don't get killed on screens.
@geoffschwartz People complaining that Veach doesn't support Patrick with talent were probably thrilled we got Simmons and wondering how the rest of the NFL let us take Worthy. It's easy to criticize in hindsight, but I don't recall anyone being upset by these specific picks at the time
@PocketContext But elite interior OL when you don't have a RB to take advantage is not much help. And elite interior OL isn't much help when the Ts are escorting DEs to Mahomes themselves or committing drive killing penalties. 5 competent OLmen would be better than 2 elite and 2 trainwrecks.
@GehrigDieter Butker was short on a 58-yarder - he can hit from 10 yards past that. Is he hurt? Meanwhile Santos hits a career-high 58-yarder to win a game this week. Bizaro World.
@LetsChatChiefs They mentioned it tonight, but QBs seem to have quick triggers against us this year. Need to stop blitzing (rush doesn't have time to get home). Rush four, drop everyone else - need someone marking the RB and TE(s) cuz we are getting killed on screens.
@PhillySharp1 The implied value of 3 straight bets at -110 is -$15. (12.5% chance to lose all, 37.5% to lose 2 of 3 and lose $120, 37.5% to win 2 of 3 and win $80, and 12.5% to hit all 3 and win $300). Implied value of a $100 parlay is -$13 (87.5% to lose 100 and 12.5% to win 596). Parlay wins
@WillieKnowsBall@ndsports21 But the order matters, because if you make the first you don't have to try the second. But you only make the first 47% of the time, so more than half the time you have to do something statistically less likely just to tie. And you have a 28% chance of failure.
@inspirewolivia We had a wine tasting competiton at work where we had to taste wines and identify their varietals. I was the only person to get them all right and I hadn't tasted any of them. I won two bottles of wine (which I gave away).
