106 yrs ago #thisweek, the Equitable building at Broadway and Cedar Sts burst into 🔥 on a frigidly cold day. 🚒 & firemen were instantly covered in ice, & the building turned into an imposing & dangerous "ice palace" (according to the @nytimes).
