The Maldives government once promised a floating city for 20,000 people, ten minutes by boat from Malé. Official records show that five public lagoons were handed to the developer, none has been developed, and two have been sold on. The government that signed the deals has not explained why.

In 2015, they changed the Constitution to allow foreigners to own our land. In 2017, they were ready to develop an entire atoll with foreign investors. But now Eagle Hills is a problem?

Our Constitution doesn't allow non-Muslims to become Maldivian citizens, and President @MMuizzu 's government has already banned entry on Israeli passports.

Eagle Hills is a leasehold project, not a sale of our land.

We all stand with Palestine. But dragging the Palestinian cause into domestic politics with baseless allegations just to scare investors away is unacceptable. Political rivalry shouldn't come at the expense of our country's future.

I strongly condemn the Houthi missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which killed 12 people and wounded over 300. This assault on a civilian airport—a clear act of terror—cannot be justified under any circumstances.

The Islamic Ummah is being draken into a devastating conflict driven by regional dynamics and fueled by external actors seeking to destabilize Middle East and expand their influence. This is not a war of regional nations. The bloodshed serves only the interests of those who profit from division.

The time has come for unity. Muslim nations must work together to pursue a peaceful resolution—the only path to a lasting and just solution.
