@StevenBartlett@DrAseemMalhotra Huge fail from that podcast. In medicine we need to do a better job holding grifters and charlatans to account. They should not be able to leverage being a physician and cardiologist as part of their misinformation platform.
@SamirShahMD@SalliePermar@TheNRMP@theNASEM@statnews Thanks for sharing (I’m peds cards). By the data for some disciplines you would think we’ll need to cross train adults for pediatrics. Lots of work to do to further encourage peds specialization

@ssx6116@DGlaucomflecken@jasonryanmd Oh, I mean for first ‘everyone says’ fructose-1,6 but, yeah, I’ve still gotta go with that one. And really second place is a tie between the rest of them… it’s like choosing between your own children, how could you choose?
@DBelardoMD Congratulations! As one of the few pediatric preventive cardiologists, I’m looking forward to being more involved with the ASPC. Though admittedly biased, I’ve joked that adult preventive is ‘palliative cardiology,’ while pediatric is preventive. Lots of work to do.
