It's something people hardly think about, but it couldn't be more important. Taste, after all, is born out of discretion and discernment, and it is what will allow us to hold on to our humanity in an age of slop.

As AI is derivative of human endeavors, now more than ever, it's imperative to soak in and interrogate the original sources of excellence.

So go read great literature. Listen to great symphonies being played by an actual orchestra. Enjoy art in a museum. Go to the theater and watch a play. Observe great architecture and design.

All this matters more now.
