🤩 Jupiter’s Rotation: An Outside View
An incredible sight: a time-lapse animation shows just how rapidly Jupiter rotates. A single day there lasts only about 10 hours! Because of this, the giant planet is noticeably flattened at the poles and bulges at the equator.
A cosmic masterpiece: the Pillars of Creation illuminated by newborn stars, their brilliance piercing through clouds of dust and gas in breathtaking infrared detail.
