A:5I think for students with high incidence disabilities, you can be creative by making fun educational videos for them, use photos to help them learn, video chatting with them. But it's important to make sure that they are comfortable with all the resources being used. #ATchat

For AAC virtual services, it is important for students to have access to a device that they are able to log onto for different resources. Meanwhile, I have recently come across a service called "Browse Aloud", which reads text out loud to students with disabilities. #ATchat

A2: I am not a teacher yet, or involved with an online class, so I don't give assessments yet. But I believe that there are many online tools, websites, games, and more that we can take advantage of. These can be used for assessments for students which keep them engaged. #ATchat

@KarenJan I have currently in two courses. One about technology in the classroom, and the other is how to modify and accommodate students with learning disabilities. I think Assistive Technology can be really crucial to provide students with devices for them to be successful in school.
