@CBCNews investigates how duplicitous online reviews can be especially damaging to Canadian small businesses.
I contributed work on this alongside some talented and amazing journalists and in return, I got a byline! Please give it a read.

Let me fix this for ya since you're struggling with the human part of political leadership.
"CBC is laying off 600 people, just weeks before the holidays. This is difficult news for these media professionals and their families during what is already a challenging time for so many Canadians."
Reminder: you can seek shelter from the cold at any City of Ottawa facility that is open.

@MessierOnFire People keep saying this, but nobody is talking about changing employment standards for educated immigrants. How many newcomers & immigrants have a Master's or PhD but drive an Uber? We have the workforce we need and aren't letting them work.
NEW | To reduce the number of coyote encounters in the #Greenbelt, the NCC will be introducing select species of road runners to the ecosystem.
This pilot project will begin in May 2022 and will be closely monitored by conservation officers throughout the season. #Ottawa
@JLeiper Excited to hear you're running! I remember having a tour of your ward diring my first year of j-school, and you talked about affordable housing. If you haven't already, please look at this campaign. https://t.co/dh9o1rnfi2

Happy International Women's Day to all my ladies, femme folks, womyn, etc. You are beautiful, strong, fierce, intelligent, and you kick ass on a daily basis. You are loved, and you deserve to be loved ❤

The impact of war felt all over the globe. Ottawa's Ukrainian community of course wooried about family and friends living in Kyiv. This story with @mearabel on @CHUOFM https://t.co/iHAOgi43jb

The hateful rhetoric being sent my way is getting hard to handle
Just one example (others in my comments)⬇️
Anyway I'll be offline this weekend, but it's important to voice when I'm not okay because it's part of the #MentalHealth conversation
Any positive words are appreciated
Not to diminish anyone's fear or alarm, but it appears white people in Ottawa are starting to understand what it's like to be constantly let down by police and the justice system
Pierre Poilievre on indigenous protest, 2020:
“These blockaders are taking away the freedom of other people to move their goods and themselves...that is wrong”
On truck protest, 2022:
“I’m proud of the truckers and I stand with them”
The hypocrisy is disappointing.
Tensions running high in Ottawa as "Freedom Truckers" respond to allegations of racism, hate-crimes. More with @mearabel on @CHUOFM. https://t.co/X4n6r9d173
Future litigations involving the city could look a lot different. @CHUOFM journalist @mearabel examines the issue via @CanadaLJI#ottnews https://t.co/gcjYToZJkf
Hey @OttawaPolice, people aren't mad because you are deescalating with the truckers. They're mad because of the handling of this protest vs. #Wetsuweten unity protests, #BlackLivesMatter, #FridaysForFuture, etc. when you arrested peaceful protestors just bc you felt like it.
