Hot take: column level lineage is cool but it doesn't address the core issue of having thousands of intertwined models each with dozens of convoluted CTEs.
Fancy tools are helpful but are only band aids. They won't be able to drain your data swamps.
Spend the effort to build / refactor a maintainable data warehouse.
I can always count on the people on this platform to boost awareness of “liberal” headlines with a Republican level of outrage. Oddly, the same people also expect me to “just do your own research” about “conservative” topics.
@AlgoTradeAlert@alifarhat79 So, in this scenario, you expect the dollar value to drop equal to the interest? If I think my bank will lower my savings interest rate by 1%, I should only transfer 1% of my money to the credit union that pays more? The way people on Twitter think doesn’t always make sense.
@FelixCloudz@zeeg You do realize that the http layer uses a single connection, and the FE can then partial render instead of waiting for all three fetches to finish?
@iTMayzIII @zeeg The output schema and internal side effects are not only mutable, but determined by the input? That, my friend, is unnecessary complexity. Good design is easy to debug.
