@jstaplesbutler I would've hated to explain political shifts like trump, the alt right, Brexit, Grenfell, all the terrorism, political corruption, police brutality (Everard) and finally having to lock her indoors from 2019 (COVID) & know ambulances wouldn't come in an emergency. A tough time.

@jstaplesbutler I lost my mum in 2015 and she was the same age yours. My mother too was naturally full of love and kindness for all, and had a lot of child like innocence about her too. It was the greatest personal tragedy to lose her. But I would've hated to have to explain ...

car users are people using transportation, cyclists are people using transportation. The car users can and do get on bikes sometimes as do cyclists sometimes get in cars (or buses).

@brumcyclist at the beginning of October I perhaps did a foolish thing of confronting someone in a car for littering. On Brighton road in Balsall health.
Four men got out of the car and immediately attacked me without speaking a word, leaving me with a mandible broken into three pieces.

in all seriousness it is down to personal preference, nobody is making you get out of your car. Many people who actually like driving, choose cycling because it's more efficient despite rain and snow.

Asian fascists and tyrannical dictatorships in Africa, have both tended to even follow European fascist aesthetic, with the uniforms, pomp and wotnot.

And of course the type of English used by already English speakers and the adoption of English by non speakers.

@KesterRatcliff not a comment on what you were asking, but I can vouch for how incredibly diverse local dialect becomes when there isn't uniform consumption of mass media going on. Languages can change noticeably every hundred metres.

@KesterRatcliff I'm actually deep in trying to learn psychology in order to understand someone just like this.
From what I have learned, a major cause of anti social personality traits like this can be related to self loathing, which in turn is almost initiated by childhood parental issues.

In the UK every public protest Inc purely social justice related, is swarmed with the red-brown bootlickers, it's just always been that way.
