@hollywoodscifi@TrekMovie Saying the core fan base of Star Trek didn't like Academy is a straight up lie and like really bad on for posting that. Are there elements that don't like it sure, but that's true of anything.
@infrstrctreweek@numble@ByERussell JetBlue and Spirit also operate out of 5, it's not just American, so that does make them distinct arrival areas, and I don't believe American has primary operation in 5, just access to space. 2/3 and 7/8 are merging in the design, and those airlines are responsible for those.
@Kgroschi@numble They're making a distinction between gate piers vs arrival/check in areas, with the current and future layout of LAX, that is extremely useful.
@infrstrctreweek@numble@ByERussell The combined terminals are based on check in areas, each of the terminal numbers has a district set of carriers you check in for, so the separation is still useful for the purposes of arriving at LAX.
@PatrickADougall Especially for a Friday or Saturday, what do they expect?
When I go I make sure to get there before the park closes at 6p to get free early entry with my pass. π
@Miss_Mochi_72@DaiCa2011@UniStudios With the way it's looking now, they'll be open. It's important to predict whether it's bad enough to close at this point.
@SafarigalKarin@UniStudios Disneyland has not announced any closures, but I'm sure they're also monitoring the situation. No theme park closes this far in advance unless they are certain it will be that bad, and that's far from certain for this one.
@ItsKieranTime I went to it a couple of times during the soft open, and am looking forward to visit it again during the passholder preview. It opens soon enough to the public. π
@ItsKieranTime Their tactics around anti unionization have been frustrating, and may be one of the reasons they are closing various locations, including one in West Hollywood. Glad I don't really go to them much anyways...
