Newly injured Heath, straight out of the spinal unit and into our physio scholarship programme this week.
Our programme will help Heath look after his body and move forward post #spinalcordinjury#healthandfitness#forall
@JourneyFog I understand completely, I have spent 90% of the last 12yrs bedbound or housebound. Unfortunately most small talk isn't an issue for most but for us the little things can hit very hard. xxx
Helen has a very poor care package sadly, despite being C4/5 and living alone. H wanted to join in today’s SkiErg challenge.... having no carers around wasn’t going to stop her. 💪🏻
Nothing but admiration for our pal H. (Nothing but disgust for her care providers)
disabled bodies are sexy bodies !!!!
wrote a blog post with the help of the wonderful @fromsarahlex about how SEXY we are - have a read, share it and enjoy. 💫

In 2019 we’ve helped more people than ever, affected by spinal cord injury, to access physiotherapy. Here’s just a few (a few) of the superstars who have felt the TEAMRST love...
#healthandfitness#forall#mindandbody
Growing up disabled you get exposed to so much "You can do ANYTHING if you try!"-type inspoporn that's damaging bc when you can't do things you internalize that you're not trying hard enough. There's power in reclaiming saying "No, I can't do that. My body doesn't work that way."
With M’s level of paralysis, marginal gains can be life changing.
Balance, posture, safety in her wheelchair, confidence... the list goes on but progress doesn’t just happen.
Two hour Tuesday session ✅

Hats off to @whyte_studio for taking into consideration #wheelchairusers who like feeling confident & enjoy wearing on trend yet functional clothing. Good self esteem is something you can't buy but having options that give you a boost really can help #livingwithdisability#SCI
Very proud to sponsor this young lady... “You have been behind me the whole way, it’s so lovely to have your help and support. Thanks so much, you guys are amazing”. Ellie
I am a disabled & I am a gamer, I have been gaming most of my life, it helps me relax....and I have found that no true gamer gives a shit if your disabled or not! I shall be playing #Borderlands3 tomorrow! #gamergirl#disabledgamer#gamingcommunity
god how many of us living with crippling and debilitating illnesses have been told this constantly throughout their life from medical professionals, family members, people on the street? it’s fucking disgusting and ableist and i hate this country and the fucking sun
RT @DRNY_org: "I’m in my 30s, and I just cried in a toy store. Because I finally found a wheelchair user Barbie. I’ve never had a Barbie, but I bought one today. Let me tell you why."-@ginlemonadeblog
