BREAKING: In a major blow to Donald Trump, U.S. District Judge Tim Kelly, a Trump appointee, has ordered the White House to immediately restore access for CNN, MS NOW and Politico journalists, saying the ban was likely unconstitutional.
How can orthogonal mechanochemical pathways be achieved within a single mechanophore? We introduce a three-arm pulling strategy that enables distinct pathways, identified by ¹⁹F NMR, expanding beyond the single pathway typically arising from two-point pulling geometries @J_A_C_S

@Mechanophore Could the good professor recommend good book(s) on history of modern chemistry and its discoveries for the educated layperson? Ideally penned by a practicing chemist?
Looking for something along the lines of The Double Helix, or Ahead of The Curve—about David Baltimore, written by one of his postdocs; great technical detail.

Was great to be part of this cool project lead by @pranavkrn and Nancy Sottos. In this work we use Grubbs' 3rd gen to modify resins for direct ink writing with FROMP. @Mechanophore@BeckmanIllinois@MacroJrnls_ACS

We hosted @Mechanophore & Prof. Toni Gill from @UofIllinois in collab w/ the PETAL program @univmiami. On Thurs, they presented their interesting pedagogical studies on large lectures that do not use high stakes exams for assessment. The approach is innovative and intriguing.
Check out my last piece of work in my PhD with @Mechanophore! We developed a “cartoon picture” ( a triangle!) to make sense of mechanochemistry under tension. Special thanks to all the reviewers who helped to greatly improved the manuscript! https://t.co/bL5swM5dso.
Please check out our work @J_A_C_S on Multicolor and White Emission from Mechanically Caged AIEgens. https://t.co/QIVwHReW4T I am glad it is also selected as the ACS Editor’s Choice! This work was done with a phenomenal undergrad @CHEM_Kecheng who will apply for grad school soon
“The Democratic Party is destroying itself by advancing Biden for a second term. This is the Emperor’s New Clothes in real life. But it is not a children’s book or a joke. The world is at great risk, and a Biden second term is a grave threat to global security and prosperity.”
Well, I guess it’s Twitter Official…Yesterday I was promoted to Professor with tenure @Caltech in @CaltechCCE. I am beyond grateful to my amazing students, colleagues, mentors, family, and friends that helped me get here. I feel truly lucky. Thank you!
@freddyeescorcia@marklewismd@UofIllinois I'm back at it this semester with 400 undergrads. Would love to have you drop in on a lecture virtually to give them a little inspiration Freddy!
