ENT doctors: when a caregiver reads the Rx at home, which causes more call-backs: ear drops with no side written, or a drop line that looks like a tablet?

1/ Solo skin OPD? A psoriasis patient is back, unsure which cream went where, and last visit's photos are on a personal phone. What dermatology software should actually handle ๐งต
3/ Photos: get consent for the record, then ask again, separately, before any photo goes online. Don't buy an aesthetic suite for a medical OPD. General information, not legal advice.
@Tap_a_Gain@snehamordani@Moveribfan@theliverdrALT@IMAIndiaOrg Enforcement is the right question. The guidelines also cover third parties acting for a doctor, so when an agency runs the ad, it sounds like the doctor still carries it. Curious what Dr Utture said on that.
@nadkarni_yash The same guidelines also want the doctor's name, qualifications and SMR/NMR number on every electronic post. That will catch far more clinic pages than the AI before-and-after ones.
@Ideepk07 ABHA ka fayda tab dikhta hai jab hospital ya clinic ka software ABDM se juda ho. Tab aapke reports aur parche ABHA se link hokar app mein aa jaate hain. Abhi bahut jagah yeh aadha-adhura hai, isliye kaagaz ka parcha bhi saath chal raha hai.
@dr__vaishali Good summary. The other condition labs will notice: remote sign-off only covers reports from facilities where the doctor is appointed, empanelled or contracted. So signing for unrelated labs stays off the table.
@NMC_BHARAT Helpful clarification. The line that matters most for small clinics: signatures, credentials and access tokens must stay under the doctor's control alone. In many OPDs the front desk still logs in on the doctor's account. Worth fixing before anything gets signed remotely.
@FaiyazA92364072@BoneyrajanK@NMC_BHARAT Same boat as many. As of today NMC hasn't notified the final amendment, and the What's New page has no notice that the unified portal is live. I wrote up what the current rules vs the Aug draft say, clause by clause, here: https://t.co/juEMvHoROE. Not affiliated with NMC.
@sajithslktda@NMC_BHARAT 765 days is brutal. One thing that might help: NMC's Aug 2026 draft would make the State Medical Council the entry point via a "Unified Registration portal", with a 30-day decision window and an appeal to EMRB. It's still a draft, but if the unified portal opens
Keep IOP per eye even when one side is quiet. A single "IOP 16" with no RE/LE label is how last visit becomes ambiguous six months later.

@ishanbajpai@NMC_BHARAT For NMR status, https://t.co/yCGdHLkWXr / https://t.co/HxWrR47WOn and keep your State Council registration proof handy. If a form asked for "HPR ID", that usually means HPID on https://t.co/uI9zOzzGf6, not NMR. This explains the difference: https://t.co/oIeX7NuwYe
@ishanbajpai@NMC_BHARAT Sorry you're stuck in pending. NMR (NMC register for MBBS) and HPR/HPID (ABDM professional ID) are different systems, so chasing the wrong helpdesk burns weeks.
3/ Two team rules: one patient, one record (search by phone first), and a visit is closed only when the note and Rx are saved. Everyone gets their own login. Review after 30 days.
