Diary of a Sad Woman - why I hate COVID. Sun, Oct 15th - my brother picks up my mom who has just spent 2 weeks in Florida staying with my aunt post uncle’s death. Mom/dad had both attended my uncle’s funeral 2 weeks earlier. Mom comes back feeling sick.
@TheRealDoctorT Dr. T- I am an M1 currently feeling overwhelmed in the throws of anatomy, the task of the hour being memorizing the brachial plexus. This is beautiful. Thank you for your stories & everything you do for your patients and colleagues.

Have higher rates of infertility.
Have fewer infertility treatments, including IVF.
Have lower live birth rates.
Have higher miscarriage rates.
Have higher preterm birth rates.
Have higher fetal death rates.
Have higher maternal death rates.
We have work to do.
I’ve been getting a lot of questions from my non-Black friends about how to be a better ally to Black people. I suggest unlearning and relearning through literature as just one good jumping off point, and have broken up my anti-racist reading list into sections:
Racism is a public health issue. Period. Great resources here—thank you @SNMA.
And remember: These deaths weren’t just “POC.” They were and are Black Americans with names, futures, and loving families. Let’s all have the courage to be specific. The assailants sure were. #SeeUs
