@cljack I had my son at 21; he had many friends with parents older than my parents. A lot of them are in rough shape now that our kids are 23 & they had to pay for college in retirement (or not retire when they wanted to.) I’d do it my way again in a heartbeat, nothing but fun!

But I have had multiple HS friends (and a cousin) do time for drug-related offenses... tbh my kids have far fewer drugs in their lives in my burb than I did.
