Now I will lead you in meditation along with the repetition of the Divine Name. But before I tell you the Name, I would like to say one more thing.
After coming to Jodhpur, I observed that many gurus impose restrictions, saying that a disciple must not accept another guru, or that something terrible will happen if he does—perhaps he will go to hell or face some other consequence. Why they impose such restrictions, only they know; that is their concern.
But if someone sitting here has already received initiation and feels troubled, thinking, ‘I have already accepted another guru, so why should I receive this initiation?’ then, my brother, you are free to get up and leave. Otherwise, I am going to share this with everyone, and if you hold out your hands to receive it, you will not go away empty-handed.
As for me, my view is different. I tell my disciples, ‘Accept a hundred more gurus if you wish—I have no objection.
