Traders are suffering because their entire bank accounts are being frozen by the cyber crime police. Scammers are escaping unharmed, while honest traders who pay their taxes are the victims and are fighting in court, which is time-consuming and incurs advocate and other fees.

@AimraIndia - All India Mobile Retailers Association requests Shri @PKhandelwal_MP ji to bring this issue to the attention of the Central government and to ask for guidelines to be issued to the police, instructing them not to freeze traders' bank accounts except for scam amounts. After traders submit the required documents, their frozen balances should be unfrozen. Otherwise, traders will stop using digital payments and will request customers to pay in cash, as seen in recent media reports where petrol pump owners halted digital payments.
