The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has decided to extend the due date of furnishing of Return of Income for Assessment Year 2026-27 in the case of persons mentioned at S. No. 2 in the Table below Explanation 2 to sub-section (1) of section 139 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 from 31st October, 2026 to 21st November, 2026.

Accordingly, the 'specified date' for furnishing of the report of audit under the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961 for Assessment Year 2026-27, in the case of such persons, stands extended to 21st October, 2026

Note : LTCG on Immoveable assets was taxable but comes with certains deductions u/s 54 etc

BREAKING: IDFC Bank का एक और घोटाला सामने आया है।

Chandigarh Administration के साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी डिपार्टमेंट के 75 करोड़ गायब हैं। ये पैसे 303 ट्रांजेक्शन में निकाले गए हैं, जो डिपार्टमेंट ने किए ही नहीं। कई बार जमा भी हुए हैं। कल बैंक के चार कर्मियों पर FIR हुई है।

👉🏻 ये पैसे IDFC Bank के उसी ब्रांच में थे, जिसमें से हरियाणा के 590 करोड़ और चंडीगढ़ नगर निगम के 116 करोड़ का फर्जीवाड़ा हुआ है।

हैरानी की बात है कि इतना सबकुछ हुआ, लेकिन सरकारी किसी कर्मी पर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई है। डिपार्टमेंट्स के पैसे निकल रहे थे और पूरा महकमा क्या सो रहा था।

303 ट्रांजेक्शन में से एक की भी किसी को जानकारी नहीं लगी। अगर नहीं लगी है तो भी उन कर्मचारियों पर कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए कि वो किस तरह की नौकरी कर रहे हैं...

In Punjab, we have approved ₹1,463.95 crore for the construction of a 6️⃣-lane, access-controlled greenfield spur linking the Ambala–Chandigarh section of NH-205A with the Zirakpur Bypass.

As part of the Tricity Ring Road project, the corridor will decongest key urban junctions across Mohali, Chandigarh, and Panchkula by diverting through-traffic.

It will ease heavy congestion on NH-44, NH-205A, and NH-152, while enabling faster, seamless connectivity towards Himachal Pradesh, particularly the Shimla region—reducing travel time and strengthening regional economic integration.
