After signing John Collins and dealing with Jalen Duren’s RFA, Duncan Robinson is expected to be waived by the Pistons in the coming days, sources told @ClutchPoints.
Whether Robinson returns to Detroit on a smaller contract or looks elsewhere is the big question.
With the Pistons bringing Kevin Huerter back and also trading for Isaiah Joe, it looks increasingly likely that Duncan Robinson's contract, which is only partially guaranteed for $2M, will be waived.
If this happens, a reunion with Miami would make a lot of sense for Robinson.
Ben Simmons is planning an NBA comeback with the 76ers and Heat as potential targets
“I plan on getting as strong as I can physically, getting my ass on the court, and then the team realizing that my abilities will be needed… Maybe I’ll go back to Philly. Miami would be nice. And not because it’s Miami—I like Erik Spoelstra, I like the Heat, I like their organization, I like the culture.”

Just in: Miami Heat forward Andrew Wiggins intends to a sign a three-year, $64 million contract to stay with the franchise, with a player option in the third season, sources tell ESPN. Heat executives and Wiggins' agents at CAA sports Steven Heumann and Andrew Morrison, as well as Richard Clarke, came to terms on a critical commitment.
The Heat sign Miami Hurricanes PG Tre Donaldson to a two-way contract

But he’s an under control high floor point guard who has natural “set-up man” qualities
In this new era, those are the type of point guards I figured Miami would want
The Heat have been busy -- long before tonight -- figuring out what shooters to put around Bam Adebayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo. They have their targets.
