i guess after years of dragging my feet, i am doing this twitter thing. over kidney donation and plagarism. so like, how do twitter?? asked the millenial software engineer.
@James_Dator excuse me, fucking-- what?? the pizza thing. some misogynist getting banned from MGT gatherings for harassing women is, sadly, unsurprising.
UPDATE: The tweets by @TwitterSupport this morning, announcing a new policy banning linking to competing websites, have been deleted.
The policy itself was deleted from Twitter’s website.
valve. buy the parent company so i can both move the steam update time so it stops messing with my tuesday evenings and make csgo lower ranks feel better again.
What company do you think you guys would buy if you had a lot of money and wanted to feel something? And what impulsive & emotional changes would you make that would ruin it
@WarnerAlyx @JO_clever_KE@LegalEagle They suspended journalists on the basis that the link to their news reporting then had a link to the jet tracking on another website. They could absolutely justify banning people because a link to a youtube also has their other socials linked on youtube.
if you'd like to witness something truly deranged I would encourage you to check out the frequency with which Elon Musk replies to an unaffiliated twitter blue account called "musk university" that just quotes him https://t.co/a8pwrPak8T
@mumbly_joe@elonmusk Oh! Yes, sorry. He is lying about that.
I thought you meant about him bringing the accounts back, because I was confused too that half the ones were still suspended.
Musk is breaking news here. Apparently his son was being driven in a Learjet on the surface roads in Pasadena when this happened. That opens up a complex new set of questions.
the thing that's bugging me the most about twitter RIGHT THIS SECOND? there's css on the home page that has top padding on your first tweet that makes it so you dont have a filled in grey box on hover unlike all the rest. pls fix this right now. @elonmusk oh and everything else.
@raprichard@CubicleApril@Carnage4Life@briankrebs I'm not missing the point. This person cited it being a design decision, and it really isn't. People keep focusing on this bit of bad code of someone prbs already fired, who overlooked a permission thing when implementing. Not important or necessary. Focus on your last sentence.
