Don't be coming into my house and asking me "Do you have this? Do you have that?"
I DON'T. My house suits me not you. If I hear any of y'all saying "Well, you should get one" or "Really, you don't have orange juice or green tea?", I'm kicking you out.
People speak of hope as if it is this delicate, ephemeral thing made of whispers and spider's webs. It's not. Hope has dirt on her face, blood on her knuckles, the grit of the cobblestones in her hair, and just spat out a tooth as she rises for another go.
Maybe no one would miss me if I was gone. But maybe they would miss that one moment they shared with me where we laughed together . And wouldn't it be mean of me to take that away from them? Especially when I know how hard it is to focus on the good.
I could never be a musician. They really be out here telling the world that, not only do they have feelings, but they have -romantic- feelings for a person. How embarrassing.
