Succession has been one of the best shows ever made. Everything about it is great- the music, the acting, the sets, etc. BUT it’s one of the best written shows of all time. Might be a good idea to pay writers so we can have more great TV instead of reality shows about realtors.

When donald trump ran in 2016, he promised he would protect people with preexisting conditions.
He didn’t.
That he would lower middle class taxes.
He didn’t.
That he would pass an infrastructure bill.
He didn’t.
That he would repeal & replace Obamacare.
He didn’t.
That he would bring back coal & American manufacturing.
He didn’t.
That he’d cut the deficit.
He didn’t, he increased it.
That he would build his wall & make Mexico pay for it.
He didn’t & they didn’t.
He didn’t deliver on any of that.
And yet despite a record like that, despite losing reelection, plotting a coup, inciting an insurrection & stealing nuclear secrets, he’s the Republican party’s front runner for 2024.

So my question is - why?

The shooter in Nashville left behind a manifesto. She had a different school in mind but settled on one she was familiar with. She was well armed with two assault rifles and a handgun. This was a premeditated act of violence against America’s children and teachers. I’m a former combat vet. These weapons do not belong in the hands of civilians. For any reason. This is not a 2nd Amendment issue. It’s a human rights issue.
