The University of the District of Columbia is putting its athletic director and aquatics director on administrative leave after a 6-year-old boy nearly drowned at a summer camp Monday.

The lifeguards on duty at the time of the incident are also on leave. A lawyer for the family tells me Adonis Jackson was underwater for longer than 2 minutes. Here’s what his family had to say earlier this week:
