Pro tip on sharing personal things online— only do it when you are for the most part PAST the issue not when you’re in the middle of it.

There’s SO much value in sharing for both you and your audience but doing it while things are fresh will lead you to spiral. You gain perspective when you’re somewhat removed from it.

The stupid comments WILL come. Comments about your personal life will sting more than an Apple vs Android debate (lol this is why I stopped vlogging). But when you’ve personally worked thru something it’s much easier to focus on the 95% positive comments. 🙏🏻

My tech videos are always topical but the personal videos are on a 6 month lag AT LEAST. 🧡
