Yeah, so South Carolina popped off today. I’m honestly not sure how many of these stills are the same tornado, but I can confirm at least 3 separate tornadoes, including one from a completely different storm. I genuinely lost track of how many tornadoes actually occurred today. This has to be South Carolina’s most significant tornado outbreak in over a decade, right? In a world and practice where few things are certain days out… I am extremely confident this is a near certainty in the forecast. Wherever the right side of Hurricane Isaias is at landfall, is going to be a prolific arcing line of tornadic supercells coming in off the Gulf. Probably the type of thing where at its peak there are several to lots of tornado warnings at the same time all clustered near one another.

Forecasters are now warning some Jersey Shore towns could see their worst flooding since Sandy as a powerful nor'easter charges up the East Coast.

In Ocean City, water is already pushing toward the dunes with high tide still approaching, while flooding spills into low-lying areas along the back bays. Officials say the entire New Jersey coast is under a major flood threat as the storm's peak impacts begin.
